Camfil adds 51st country to its global operations

Camfil has added Sri Lanka to its global operations, the 51st country that the air filtration expert now has representatives in.

Camfil’s MD for India, Shashi Shekhar recently visited Sri Lanka to meet with potential customers. He said: “Sri Lanka is a great addition to our business, with opportunities across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, hospitals, warehousing, waste treatment and data centres. Manufacturing in particular is a growing part of Sri Lanka’s economy where good air quality is essential to keep workers safe and processes clean and efficient.This is a new milestone in our strategic business plan. Camfil’s endeavour in Sri Lanka will certainly help grow the overall business and promote Camfil’s noble vision of making clean air a human right in yet another country.”

During the visit, the Camfil team presented the need for clean air and the air filtration solutions offered, covering comfort, clean processes, Indoor Air Quality, Molecular Contamination Control and Air Pollution Control.

Local distributor, Industrial Safety Equipment Co. (Pvt) Ltd. (ISEC), based out of Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital, will provide a point of contact to customers, delivering Camfil’s products and services to the region. The Camfil sales function will be handled by its India-based team.

​Camfil awarded international Trophy for equality and diversity

New York, United Nations HQ, September 16th: Camfil has been awarded the first GEEIS-SDG Trophy which positions equality as the driving force for accomplishment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).
